Most of the planning for our trip is completed. Hotels and condos are now booked, the GPS has been programmed, the car has been checked, we have our travel insurance, all in all we are ready to go.
Leaving early Sunday Feb 8, we will travel three days to get to Marionville Missouri to visit with Rosella's sister.
We will then take 11 days (via Amarillo Texas, Albuquerque and Santa Fe New Mexico, Denver Colorado, Salt lake City Utah, and Reno Nevada) to get to San Francisco where we have a condo booked for a week. Then its on to Los Angeles for a week, Las Vegas for a week and Phoenix Arizona where we will stay from March 16 to April 16th. After that, we head for San Diego for a week and then travel 5 days to get to Chicago for a week, onto Washington DC for a visit with the Obama's and then return home around mid-May.
We are getting anxious to leave for this great adventure which for us is a trip of a lifetime.
